Base pay range

$18.00/hr - $26.00/hr

Shifts

• 1st Shift: 6:00am
• 2nd Shift: 4:00pm (Monday through Friday)
• Night Shift: 2:00am (Monday through Friday) (Shift Differential $2.00 per hour)

Responsibilities

1. Operate equipment and machines within established guidelines to ensure product quality.
2. Inspect products and machine operation, making adjustments as needed.
3. Organize the process area to increase production, reduce safety risks, and improve efficiency.
4. Work with maintenance to improve machine reliability.
5. Load and unload web-fed paper rolls.
6. Learn about material paper grades.
7. Collect and inspect samples during print runs for quality control.
8. Adjust and maintain coater operations.
9. Examine job orders for coating specifications.
10. Monitor paper feed and adjust controls.
11. Input production settings into automated systems.
12. Respond to faults and alerts during machine operation.
13. Verify product specifications.
14. Maintain production records.
15. Operate safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of machine operation or technician experience in a similar environment.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with rewinders, slitting, rod coating, or wide printing presses preferred.
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
• Team-oriented with leadership abilities.
• Ability to lift 50-75 lbs repeatedly.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, reach, twist, and bend.
• Mathematically inclined, familiar with fractions and measurements.
• Ability to achieve high production output in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.
