Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a production-focused worker to support our manufacturing operations. Availability for 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) or 3rd shift (11pm-7am) is required.

You will join a team dedicated to increasing productivity, reducing downtime, and maintaining high-quality output. You will receive direction from the Operator or Supervisor, assist with setup, adjust inks, mount dies, perform quality checks, and help maintain 5S standards and clean equipment while following all safety rules

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED.
• Safety-first mindset with ability to follow lock-out tag-out procedures.
• Ability to lift/move parts up to 30 lbs for extended periods.
• Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing operation to increase productivity and reduce downtime.
• Receive and follow directions from Operator/Supervisor.
• Assist operator to set up orders, mount dies, ink adjustments, and perform quality checks.
• Inspect machine during run and notify if parts are not acceptable.
• Assist in cleanup of equipment.
• Follow safety rules and lock-out tag-out procedures.
• Maintain 5S standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Availability to work 2nd shift 3pm-11pm or 3rd shift 11pm-7am

Work as part of a team in support of a manufacturing operation with a goal of increasing productivity; decreasing downtime and waste.

Receive and follow directions from the Operator and/or Supervisor.

Assist machine operator to set up orders, mount printing and cutting dies, ink adjustments, and ensure quality checks are performed before, during and upon completion of each order.

Inspect machine during run and notify Operator when acceptable parts are not being produced.

Assist in cleanup of equipment.

Follow all company safety rules and lock-out tag-out procedures.

Maintain shop and shop equipment per 5S Standards.

Other duties as assigned.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Graduate or GED.

Passionate about maintaining a safe work environment.

Ability to stack parts up to 30 lbs. for a period of up to 12 hours.

Ability to work overtime and weekends, as needed.

Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Must be willing to work closely on a day-to-day basis with other production personnel.

Ability to share ideas with others to solve problems of essential importance.
