Description

The Leveler Operator Assistant supports continuous improvement initiatives, aiming to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency. Responsibilities include setting up and operating automatic leveling, sheeting, and console-operated equipment to level, cut, and stack flat sheets of various gauges to meet customer requirements, based on customer orders, engineered layouts, and instructions.

Pay Range:

$21.82 - $24.77/hr

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED strongly preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience with leveler machines.
• Experience in the steel industry and product knowledge preferred.
• Operational knowledge of crane, forklift, and ancillary lifting devices.
• Production operation experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to work 3:00pm - 11:00pm, M-F.
