Job DescriptionJob DescriptionHudson Printing is searching for skilled individuals who are mechanically inclined. Mechanical experience and machinery operation are but not necessary. Must be able to work with little to no supervision and be always accountable.Starting pay for no machinery operation experience will range from $15-17/hr. with the first 90-days as a trial period. However, skilled machine operators will start between $16-18//hr. based on relevant experience. Excellent attitude, attendance, and performance lead to continuous pay increases during regular performance reviews.Primary Duties

• Operate Guillotine Cutting Machinery, Sheeter Operator for roll fed presses, Perfect Binding Machinery, and UV Coater/Laminator.
• Maintain the equipment and keep the machine running
• Continuously monitor quality and conditions while assessing the machine functionality
• Staging pallets and completed pallets
• Visually inspect finished product quality and certify quality to customer specifications
• Maintain efficiency and minimize waste
• Perform regular preventative maintenance and work with maintenance crews
• Use a hydraulic pallet jack to move around paper and printed product

Required Skills & Experience

• Must have basic math skills, i.e., addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, as well as fractions and decimals. Must be able to read a ruler.
• Must have auto, industrial, or some other form of mechanical experience
• Must have a good command of the English — i.e. able to communicate effectively both orally and in written (such as job tickets), as well as explaining information and asking questions of co-workers or supervisor.
• Manufacturing machine operation experience is highly

• Strong technical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to stand and move around the work area for long periods of time
• Occasionally be able to lift and/or move up to 85 pounds
