Job summary

Landscape Structures Inc. in Delano, MN is seeking a Machine Operator Apprentice. This entry-level role trains to safely operate and monitor production equipment, producing quality parts and products with supervision.

No prior machine-operating experience is required, and we value dependable, safety-focused individuals who want to grow a career in manufacturing. Day shift hours are Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Basic computer knowledge.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery under supervision following safety procedures.
• Load/unload materials and initiate production cycles.
• Receive training on setting up machines from prints and work instructions.
• Learn to read calipers, tape measures and other measuring tools.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate assigned machinery under close supervision, following standard work instructions and safety procedures.

Perform basic machine tasks such as loading/unloading materials and initiating cycles.

Training will be provided on:

• How to set up and run a production machine from prints, sketches, and work instructions
• Reading calibrated measuring tools (caliper, tape measure)

The target hourly range is $18.50 - $20.00, depending upon qualifications and experience. This position qualifies for a shift differential of $3.00 per hour. The posted pay range reflects the expected compensation for a fully qualified candidate. Starting pay may be above or below this range based on job-related factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, and training needs.

In addition to hourly pay, the compensation package also includes eligibility for profit-sharing and monthly bonus opportunity.
