Location Description

Responsibilities
  1. Adhere to safe work practices, follow GMPs, maintain sanitary conditions, and ensure product quality. Report any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety, food quality, or personnel safety.
  2. Follow all safety policies and procedures.
  3. Knowledge of TRM system.
  4. Properly set up, operate, and adjust the case taper, case packer, and case erector.
  5. Ensure proper boxes are used and the correct code is printed on them.
  6. Validate proper palletizing pattern.
  7. Communicate relevant information effectively to fellow employees during shift and at shift change.
  8. Report process inefficiencies, equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, and GMP issues to the department lead or supervisor.
  9. Maintain equipment cleanliness and good housekeeping per sanitation checklist.
  10. Follow all personal and food safety precautions, including PPE, Lockout/Tagout, GMPs, and plant color codes.
  11. Prepare and mix chemicals according to SSOP directions and test for accuracy using titration.
  12. Measure chemical concentrations and administer chemicals safely and efficiently.
  13. Operate CIP and COP cleaning equipment.
  14. Dismantle, clean, and reassemble packaging and processing lines according to schedule.
  15. Perform sanitation inspections and communicate issues to supervisors.
  16. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  1. Education: High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
  2. Experience: Relevant experience preferred.
  3. Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively in basic English (verbal and written), including safety instructions and warnings.
  4. Language Skills: Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions, memos, and correspondence.
  5. Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic math operations, compute rates, ratios, percentages, and interpret graphs.
  6. Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions in various formats.

The pay range for this position is $20.40 to $21.52 per hour.
