POSITION SUMMARY
The Machine Operator will work within the processing and packaging teams to operate equipment according to product standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This role does not have supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience/training; or equivalent combination.
SKILLS
Ability to read and write, understand simple instructions, and interpret machine displays. Bilingual in English/Chinese preferred.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Basic arithmetic skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division.
REASONING ABILITY
Apply common sense to carry out instructions in written or oral form.
CERTIFICATES/LICENSES
Not required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must frequently stand, handle objects, reach, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and smell. Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception. Ability to work in shifts and overtime.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Exposure to wet/humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, high places, fumes, chemicals, and loud noise. Reasonable accommodations will be made for disabilities.
