Job summary

Reading Truck Group is seeking a Machine Operator for the Claremore, OK facility. The role involves running machine shop processes, coordinating with teammates on production lots, and upholding safety and quality in a high-volume shop environment.

The successful candidate will operate Brake Press, Plasma Table, or Laser, perform inspections on machined parts, and complete required paperwork. A 1,500 USD sign-on bonus is offered plus overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience with Brake press, Plasma, or Laser required.
• Ability to drill, tap, and sand; operate Brake Press, Plasma Table, or Laser.
• Perform quality inspections of machined products.
• Complete and maintain paperwork and PPE compliance.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area.

Responsibilities

• Perform machine shop operations.
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to leadership.
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follow prescribed safety precautions.
• Must be willing to wear company provided PPE.
• Perform quality inspections of machined products.
• Complete and maintain paperwork.
