O'Neal Steel has openings for a Machine Operator (3rd Shift) at our Greensboro, NC facility.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate production machines following established procedures and guidelines.
• Use computer-controlled equipment to select, position, and secure automatic or semi-automatic machines.
• Control and adjust machine settings to ensure tasks are completed accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely manner.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to operate various processing equipment such as saws, shears, press brakes, rollers, plasma, laser, etc.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment including forklift, overhead crane, stacker crane, side loader, yard dog, etc.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Proficiency with measuring tools like tape measure, calipers, micrometers.
• Ability to convert and perform calculations with fractions and decimals.
• Commitment to providing high-quality work to internal and external customers.

Work Schedule: Must be able to work the 3rd shift (Sunday-Thursday, 10pm-6am). Overtime may be required.
