Job description

Job Overview

Operates multiple production machines such as saws, presses, drills, and other hand and/or powered equipment, including automatic presses and similar machinery that may require raw materials to be loaded onto stock reels.

This position is part of our overnight (third shift) team. Hours are Sunday through Thursday, 11PM-7:30AM. Shift Premium is available.

A Day In The Life
  1. Studies blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, or specifications to determine dimensions, tolerances, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
  2. Measures dimensions on workpieces.
  3. Starts and runs machinery to produce products, detects malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjusts machine controls as required.
  4. Verifies conformance of finished workpieces to specifications.
  5. Adjusts and operates machines on trial runs to verify accuracy of settings or programmed control data.
  6. Tests machine operation to ensure functionality and performance.
  7. Assembles products as needed.
