Job summary

Media Riders Inc is conducting a 3rd shift position in North Austin. The role requires operating high-volume printers/copiers and finishing equipment, lifting up to 50 pounds, and coordinating with the team to meet customer job requirements. Training on document handling and data entry is provided.

The position runs Sunday to Thursday, 10:30pm–6:30am. A background check is required, and the pay ranges from $17 to $18 per hour with immediate start after one interview.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Experience operating finishing and office/production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver intermediate contracted customer requirements (document assembly and finishing).
• Operate standard finishing equipment (paper cutters, inserters, laminating, hole punchers).
• Operate office/production equipment (printer, copier, fax, scan).
• Process basic forms and update information using a PC.
• Wrap, pack, label, and ship finished product.
• Perform quality inspection before, during and after production runs.
• Track and store jobs for later reuse as required.

• Tasks and activities are defined and routine.

• Point of contact to receive, review and electronically log customer jobs
• Operate standard finishing equipment (e.g. paper cutters, inserters, laminating, and hole punchers)
• Operate office/production equipment (printer, copier, fax, scan)
• Process basic forms and update information using a PC
• Wrap, pack, label, and ship finished product
• Problem solve issues to complete production, delivery, and output requirements
• Perform quality inspection before, during and after output of each production run
• Sort and scan hardcopy materials or other mediums for use in printed documents or digital format; specific application training may be required and provided
• Collect data and respond to print/copy equipment issues by contacting service personnel using specific PC applications
• Operate high volume printers and copiers
• Track and store jobs as customer requires for reuse at a future date, including file back-up
