Machine Operator 3rd shift (9pm-7am) 4 day work week

Position Summary: Sets up and operates machines performing multiple operations such as forming, welding, twisting, and calibrating to produce chain metal rods or wires.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Selects, installs, and aligns tooling, coppers, cutting tools, guides, and stops to set up the machine.
2. Sets controls to synchronize machine actions for various operations in a specified sequence.
3. Positions coil of metal wire or rod on feed spindle and threads it through straightening rolls into the feed mechanism.
4. Starts machine to produce samples and measures for conformance with specifications.
5. Adjusts settings to meet quality standards.
6. Monitors machine operation for malfunctions and product defects.
7. Repairs or replaces worn or broken tooling/machine parts.
8. Maintains cleanliness of machines and work area.
