Job summary

Pretium Packaging, L.L.C. is seeking multiple Machine Operators for the 3rd shift (9:45pm to 6:15am) to join our manufacturing team.

You will set up and operate plastic molding machines, monitor performance, and perform routine maintenance while ensuring product quality and safety compliance. The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, with preferred experience in operating plastic molding machines and understanding of plastics manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience operating plastic molding machines (preferred).
• Strong understanding of plastic manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Mechanical training/aptitude and technical training on packaging, plastics and printing equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate plastic molding machines according to established procedures.
• Monitor machines during operation to ensure proper functioning and make adjustments as necessary.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on machines to ensure optimal performance.

Job Overview:

As a Machine Operator you will play a vital role in our manufacturing process. You will be responsible for setting up and operating machines, monitoring their performance, and performing routine maintenance tasks. In addition, you will be required to inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and make adjustments as necessary.
