Brook & Whittle, a leading sustainable labeling solutions provider, is hiring a Machine Operator/Seamer for the Sunday through Thursday overnight shift (11 p.m.–7 a.m.). The role includes operating the Label Seamer, setting up, and performing quality checks while following job tickets.

A $1.50 shift differential applies with starting pay at $19.00 per hour. Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, documenting results, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of printing experience preferred but not required.
• Strong math and measurement conversions required.
• Detail-oriented with ability to follow standard work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate and configure the Label Seamer machine per job tickets.
• Ensure machines run efficiently and output meets quality standards.

• Gather supplies and perform routine maintenance as needed.

Machine Operator/Seamer Operator

Sunday through Thursday Overnight Third Shift 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.

Shift Differential of $1.50 starting at $19.00 per hour

Brook + Whittle, one of North America's leading sustainable labeling solutions providers, is currently seeking Machine Operators who will be operating our Label Seamer machine.

• Effectively perform machine operations - converting post-press product into finished product by following job ticket instructions.
• Responsible for ensuring that machines are operating efficiently while producing product that conforms to quality standards.
• Accurately setup machines to cut and rewind to specific customer requirements.
• Perform and document quality checks to ensure compliance with company standards and customer specifications.
• Retrieve cores, boxes, and other supplies and materials for the machine and daily operation.
• Inspect equipment for defects and perform maintenance duties as necessary.
• Ability to read and understand written instructions and job tickets, as well as comprehend verbal instructions.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Safely and efficiently perform all essential job functions in accordance with company policies and operating procedures.
• Participate in department meetings, training, and continuous improvement events.

Requirements

• 1 year of printing experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred, but not necessary.
• Strong math skills and understanding of metric and standard measurements/ conversions.
