Position Summary

Safely operate machinery with maximum efficiency, maintaining product quality and following sanitation and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

1. Operate machinery, including setup, operation, changeovers, troubleshooting, and defect detection.
2. Maintain GMP standards around machinery.
3. Follow SOPs for machinery.
4. Cross-train on equipment as directed.
5. Accurately document processes and issues.
6. Maintain and issue raw materials as per work orders.
7. Work safely, adhering to safety regulations.
8. Maintain good attendance.
9. Report food safety and quality issues promptly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior machine operation experience preferred.
• Ability to wear PPE (hard hats, hair nets, ear plugs, etc.).
• Basic computer, math, and communication skills.
• Ability to use hand tools and operate a forklift (if applicable).
• Lockout/tagout certification preferred.
• Team-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.

Working Conditions

Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to:

• Long periods of standing, moving, around machinery.
• Loud, hot/cold, wet/dry conditions.
• Frequent reaching, pulling, climbing stairs, stooping, kneeling, bending.
