Job Description

The Machine Operator -- Fabrication is expected to perform under the direction of the area supervisor, manufacture parts per plant specification in an accurate and timely manner utilizing a CNC Machining Center/Fabrication equipment while recognizing safety and efficiencies.

Shift Details

3rd Shift: Sunday - Thursday 11 PM - 7 AM - $23.59/hr

Daily Overtime and Saturday Overtime based on business needs.

Major Responsibilities
  • Position and secure work piece in machine
  • Maintain a clean safe work area
  • Read blueprints/Diagrams, tape measure by millimeters, dial caliper, and other measuring instruments
  • Follow directions and work in a team environment
  • Previous experience with inventory control methods
  • Handle, touch objects, tools, or controls regularly
Basic Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Understanding of machining/fabricating fundamentals
  • Ability to perform reading, writing, and math functions
Additional Qualifications
  • Effective communication skills
  • Problem-solving and reasoning skills
  • Intermediate PC knowledge and Microsoft Office skills
  • Ability to interpret drawings, schematics, and machine specifications
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with equipment and automation in metal fabrication, paint, and assembly operations
  • Mechanical aptitude and systematic problem resolution skills
Physical Demands

Regularly required to talk, hear, manipulate objects, stand, walk, and occasionally lift 25-50 pounds. Frequent computer use and occasional travel.
