Job summary

Lear Corporation is seeking a Machine Operator – Third Shift at Guilford Textiles in Pine Grove. You will keep the machines running and support production goals in a fast-paced textile plant.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and the stamina to stand for long periods. We offer medical benefits, 401(k), advancement opportunities, and an Employee 24/7 Resource System.

Qualifications

• Background check and drug screening pass required.

Responsibilities

• Repairing smashes, lifting/dropping of bars, and removal and re-alignment of guides.
• Patrolling front of machine using a stoplight.
• Changing beams on machines.
• Monitoring fronts and backs of assigned machines to ensure productivity and quality.
• Lifting and dropping yarn to make proper adjustments on machines.
• Loading cones of yarn into the creep for the warping machine to operate.
• Unloading creel and repacking cones into boxes.
• Threading fabric into the frame machine and operating it while monitoring quality.
• Scheduling dye lots and entering information into the computer.

MACHINE OPERATOR –THIRD SHIFT

11PM-7AM OR 7PM-7AM

GUILFORD TEXTILES, PINE GROVE

As a member of the Production team, the Operator will be responsible for keeping the machines in constant operation.

Your Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED
• Must be able to pass Background Check and Drug Screening
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to stand for a prolonged amount of time.

Responsibilities

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

• Repairing smashes, lifting/dropping of bars, and removal and re-alignment of guides
• Patrolling front of machine using a stoplight
• Changing beams on machines
• Monitoring the fronts and backs of assigned machines to ensure there are no productivity and quality issues
• Lifting and dropping of yarn to make proper adjustments on machines
• Loading the cones of yarn into the creep for the warping machine to operate
• Unloading the creel of partially used cones and repacking the cones into boxes
• Threading fabric into the frame machine
• Operating the frame machine and visually monitoring the fabric
• Review dye order and enter information into computer
• Scheduling dye lots based on delivery dates and order of importance.
• Monitoring cycle times on all production machinery.
• Delivering dye cans/chemical buckets along with dye orders to the correct dye machine.
