Job summary

Lear Corporation is hiring a Machine Operator for the first shift at Guilford Textiles in Pine Grove, PA. The role focuses on keeping machines in constant operation and supporting production while adhering to safety and quality standards.

You will work 7AM-7PM, with responsibilities including threading, operating the frame machine, dye order review, and defect inspection. Benefits include medical, 401k, and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED.
• Must pass Background Check and Drug Screening.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to stand for a prolonged amount of time.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the fronts and backs of assigned machines to ensure there are no productivity and quality issues.
• Thread fabric into the frame machine.
• Operate the frame machine and visually monitor the fabric.
• Review dye order and enter information into computer.
• Reroll, inspect, and monitor the fabric for defects.
• Mark, cut out, and record defects as necessary.

As a member of the Production team, the Operator will be responsible for keeping the machines in constant operation.
