Job description

In the position of Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various equipment to ensure the efficient and accurate completion of production tasks.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Operate and monitor the production line, removing or shifting materials and/or finished products as necessary to facilitate proper flow and machine operation. Ensure product quality and operate all manufacturing equipment efficiently and safely.
2. Perform routine maintenance, housekeeping, and organization. Execute light troubleshooting. Maintain a clean work area according to good housekeeping practices. Clean equipment during and after shifts. Perform CIP/Sanitation as required. Expedite repairs by working with maintenance as necessary.
3. Collaborate as a team member to deliver results and respond appropriately to issues.
4. Monitor, measure, and report system performance. Conduct quality control checks. Perform product and package changeovers. Maintain accurate records of downtime and machine operations.
5. Communicate effectively with managers, mechanics, and other operators to resolve problems, follow directions, and complete assigned tasks. Utilize computer-based workstation systems.

Position Requirements:

1. Preferably hold a Bachelor's Degree in Heavy Machinery, Operations, or a related field.
2. 1-3 years of experience as a machine operator.
3. Experience in a manufacturing environment is desired.
4. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
5. Knowledge of machine capabilities and limits is essential for optimal performance.

Base Salary Range: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour.
