Job description

Position Summary:
The Inspector / Machine Operator is responsible for operating converting equipment by following all standard work to
job specifications in an accurate, timely and safe manner.

This will be on 3rd shift (10 pm to 6 am) and training on 1st shift (6 am to 2 pm)


Essential Duties Include:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable
accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.
• Feeding paper stock, roll tending, clearing jams and possibly restarting equipment.
• Monitoring glue levels and refilling as needed
• Inspecting, packing, and stacking finished product
• Performing all quality checks on back, table and half hour pulls
• Participate in and promote team problem solving and process improvement
• Maintain production records and equipment logs accurately and timely.


Education and Experience:
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• One to three years manufacturing or packaging-based work experience.
• Strong skills in math and ruling; attention to precision and detail and a desire to achieve customer satisfaction
• Demonstrated openness to process improvement and change
• Good attendance and punctuality and willingness to work overtime as needed
