Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America is seeking an Associate Level 1 Operator in Kalamazoo, MI. The role supports a manufacturing operation with a focus on productivity, safety, and efficiency. Forklift operation and readiness to perform various plant-floor tasks are required.

Hourly pay starts at $26.70 with overtime pay at 1.5x and a uniform program. Benefits include health, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401(k) match. Paid vacation and holidays are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED.
• Be passionate about maintaining a safe work environment.
• Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.
• Must be able to sit, stoop, and bend.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Able to stack parts up to 30 lbs. for a period of up to 12 hours.
• Must be able to read a tape measure.

Pay and Benefits

Hourly pay rate for an Associate Level 1 Operator is $26.70. Pay over 40 hours is 1.5 times the hourly rate. A uniform program is available.

Paid vacation: 2 weeks per calendar year. Paid holidays. Within the first 30 days of employment, employees are eligible to enroll in medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, and disability coverage. Upon hire, employees are automatically enrolled in the 401(k) plan.
