Shoreline Container Holland
Rate: $20.25/hr + $3.00/hr shift premium ($23.25)
You must be willing to train on 1st shift for a short time (1 week - 1 month based on skill level) before moving over to 3rd shift.

Role Summary: The Machine Operator is responsible for all setup and operation of machines in the designated department. Operators may work with computer-controlled equipment or more mechanically based machines.
SCHEDULE: 9:00 pm - 7:00 am Monday through Thursday, with overtime scheduled on Friday, as needed.
What You'll Do:
- Set up and operate various machines.
- Run material through machine according to company specifications.
- Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
- Ensure correct materials are used to meet customer specifications.
- Ensure all inventory entries are complete and accurate.
- Inspect and maintain quality of product.
- Responsible for meeting all quality and efficiency standards.
- Meet all company safety policies and report any concerns related to required maintenance of machines.
- Test operation of machines periodically.
- Handle special projects as business dictates.
- Duties may be expanded and additional duties assigned.
Physical Demands:

- Regularly required to stand for long hours, walk, bend, twist, stoop, squat, and use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls.
- Frequently required to talk or hear.
- Must reach with fingers, hands, and arms.
- Perform repetitive hand, wrist, and arm motions.
- Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
Work Environment:
- Manufacturing setting with exposure to noise, dust, varying temperatures, and moving mechanical parts.
- Safety gear required as per regulations.
What You'll Need:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Machine operator experience preferred; strong knowledge of manufacturing machines.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions, including reading tape measures, blueprints, and schematics.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented and self-motivated.
- Dependability.
