Job summary

FILTRAN is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator for the 3rd shift (11:00pm to 7:00am) to operate various types of machinery in the manufacturing process, ensuring safety and quality standards.

You will set up machines, monitor operation, perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and work with teammates and supervisors to meet production targets.

The role requires English communication, the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds, with a focus on detail and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating machinery in a manufacturing setting.
• Knowledge of machine operation and maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Must be able to communicate in English and read instructions in English.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

The ideal candidate will have experience of operating a range of machinery and be able to work independently to ensure production goals are met.

Responsibilities

Set up machines for operation according to job order specifications.

Operate machinery safely and efficiently to meet production targets.

Monitor machines during operation to ensure proper functioning and identify any issues or malfunctions.

Conduct routine maintenance on machines as needed to ensure proper functioning.

Troubleshoot problems with machines and make minor repairs as necessary.

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve processes and ensure timely production.
