Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc in Sparks, MD is seeking an Entry Level Machine Operator on a 12-month contract. The role starts with training on the 1st shift and moves to the 3rd shift, with a six-week training period and a 40-hour workweek.

Work hours are 3rd shift 10:00pm–6:30am, Mon–Fri, with a pay rate of $18/hr plus a $0.55 shift differential. A high school diploma and basic English reading/comprehension are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of machine operator experience in a production environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, write, interpret English specifications and perform basic math.
• Willingness to work 3rd shift and rotate as needed.
• Must be able to work flexible and/or extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine production tasks including filling, packaging, labeling and inspecting.
• Maintain accurate records per FDA, GMP, ISO9000 standards.

Job Description

• Performs routine production functions including filling, utility operations, packing, packaging, assembling, labeling and inspecting under general supervision.
• Maintains accurate records and logs in accordance with FDA (Food and Drug Administration), GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) and ISO9000 (International Organization for Standardization).
• Effectively works in a team setting, supporting team goals and objectives.
• Makes effective decisions relative to position requirements.
