Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc. in Sparks, MD is seeking an entry-level Machine Operator for a 12-month contract. The role requires weekend shifts Fri-Sun with early hours and a 40-hour week.

Must have a HS diploma and reliable transportation, as it is not near public transit. Candidates should be able to read English specs, cooperate in a team, and adhere to FDA/GMP/ISO9000 standards. This contract on W2 is for a medical device client, offering hands-on production experience and exposure to quality systems

Responsibilities

• Performs routine production functions including filling, utility operations, packing, packaging, assembling, labeling, and inspecting under general supervision.

• Works effectively in a team setting, supporting team goals.
• Makes effective decisions relative to position requirements.
• Follows instructions and standard operating procedures under direct supervision.
• Reports to work on a regular, punctual basis and may rotate tasks.

Job Description

• Works under direct supervision, following standard operating procedures.
  

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent. One to two years' experience preferable.
• Develops skills in basic tasks, techniques, and procedures within one skill area / process / method.
• Applies basic knowledge and skills to complete routine tasks consisting of prescribed steps.
• Effective communication skills at a level co-workers and Team Lead/Supervisor can understand.
• Ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend specifications written in English and perform basic math calculations.
• Must be able to work flexible and/or extended hours and report to work on a regular, punctual basis.
• Ability to get along with people and be able to work in a team environment.
