About the Role:

Are you interested in effectively and efficiently operating machines to produce gourmet chocolate and candies? We’re looking for a dedicated machine operator to help deliver the quality that is known and loved by every Ferrero customer for over 100 years. Pay is $21.00 per hour. We are currently looking for 3rd shift, 11 PM - 6 AM. Overtime will be mandatory during peak season, which may include Saturdays when needed. There will be a $1.25 shift differential for 3rd shift.

Main Responsibilities:

1. The Machine Operator is required to operate all equipment assigned to their area, including enrobers, shrink or flow wrappers, cutting equipment, melters, and tempering machines.
2. Record production details including line rates, downtime, quality tests, and total production.
3. Ensure lines are supplied with necessary and appropriate raw and packaging materials.
4. Direct assigned line associates in an appropriate manner to achieve goals.
5. Perform other duties as assigned.

Who we are looking for:

Education or Experience:

• Understanding of basic arithmetic and the ability to read machinery diagrams and technical instructions.

Physical Requirements:

• Lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, stooping, kneeling, walking, standing for extended periods, and manipulation of various hand and power tools.

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:

• Ability to pass company training and certification programs related to machine operation and food safety.

Computer Skills:

• Basic computer entry skills for inventory control purposes.
