Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions is hiring for a full-time production role in Addison, IL. You will support daily operations, packaging for internal and external use, and assist with changeovers alongside production teammates.

The role pays $22.65 per hour and includes a comprehensive benefits package such as medical, dental, and PTO. Shifts run Monday–Friday, 11pm–7am, with safety and teamwork emphasized across the manufacturing floor.

Responsibilities

• Operate all manufacturing equipment efficiently and safely.
• Safely operate the machine to properly produce product and follow proper procedures for packaging to external customers.
• Remove or shift materials and/or finished products to facilitate proper flow.
• Demonstrates ability to meet production standards on specific assignments within required time.
• Maintains good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned space.
• Responsible for safety and quality throughout production.
• Clean equipment and area before, during, and after shift.
• Maintain clean work area through good housekeeping practices.
• Follow proper sorting and restacking instructions given by the quality department.
• Assist in changeovers when called up by supervisor or front-end operators.
• Performs other duties as required by Supervisor or Manager.

The pay rate for this role is $22.65 per hour.

The schedule for this role is Monday- Friday 11pm-7am.

  Physical Requirements

  • Plant facility runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week consistently, excluding designated holidays or prearranged shut down.
  • Line production is constant flow approximately 35 to 39 drums an hour.
  • Ability to be on feet consistently 8 hours up to a 12 hours per scheduled shift
  • Walking during this standing time in work cell, continuous rotation between mold machine, tester machine, cutter machine and grinder machine.
  • Repetitive turning & twisting during the leak testing steps of production.
  • Reaching above shoulders, hand and wrist repetitive simple grasping to pick up drum, flip drum to put it on the cutter machine, and drum lid assembly.
  • Usage of lid assembly closure bar and cutting knife to complete drum manufacturing process.
  • Shifts can be scheduled 5 days consecutive Monday to Friday or alternating 2-week rotation any of the production working days.
  • Use of hands and fingers to perform job function
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, bend and climb, minimal, only as needed.
  • Ability to lift as needed up to 35lbs during scheduled shift
  • Ability to lift consistently up to 20lbs for full shift to move drum through and complete manufacturing process.
  • The work environment is inside, however not temperature controlled. Exposed to both heat and cold depending on the daily weather conditions outside, and plastic mold machine station working at.
