Job summary

Roskam Foods in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Production Operator to support multiple packaging lines, ensure food safety, and follow SOPs. You will run equipment such as fillers, sealers, end-of-line devices, scanners and cartoners, while maintaining clean and safe work areas.

Training will cover HACCP, GMP, CCPs, and line responsibilities; progress with Foreman and Supervisors and may train new staff. A flexible schedule and team collaboration are valued in this role.

Qualifications

• Follow GMP/HACCP principles and CCPs on the line.
• Complete required line paperwork with supervision.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and follow SOP/SSOPs.
• Train new/current employees on equipment with oversight.

Responsibilities

• Follow all elements of Food Safety to ensure GMP, HACCP and proper packaging standards are met.
• Proficient in running jobs/equipment including Filler, Sealer, End of Line, Scanners, and more.
• Train new/current employees on equipment with Foreman/Supervisor oversight.
• Keep equipment and line clean and inspect pre/post-run.
• Communicate clearly with Production leadership and other departments.
