We are looking specifically for candidates with mechanical machinery setup and calibration experience.

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Machine Operator to set up, maintain, and optimize our production machinery. In this role, you will ensure continuous, efficient production cycles while upholding rigorous safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities

• Setup & Calibration: Clean, calibrate, and prepare machinery to initiate precise production cycles according to technical specifications.
• Operational Control: Monitor and adjust complex machine settings (e.g., speed, feed rate) to maintain optimal performance.
• Material Handling: Efficiently feed raw materials or component parts into semi-automated machinery.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct precision inspections of finished parts using advanced measuring tools and check output to identify and rectify machine-related flaws.
• Testing & Maintenance: Periodically test machine operations and troubleshoot/resolve routine mechanical issues during your shift.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate activity logs and records of approved vs. defective units to track yield and efficiency.

Qualifications: Requirements & Skills

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing or production environment (Warehouse picking/packing experience will not count toward this requirement).
• Technical Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of high-speed production machinery and precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
• Technical Literacy: Ability to accurately interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Safety & Compliance: Strict adherence to health and safety regulations, including the mandatory and consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Physical Demands: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs periodically, alongside the stamina for prolonged standing or walking throughout shifts.
• Core Competencies: High analytical aptitude, strong communication, collaborative teamwork skills, and a sharp attention to detail.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
