Job summary

Tyson Foods in Enid, OK is seeking a Food Production - Machine Operator for the 2nd shift. Positions start at $17.60 per hour. The role requires the ability to assemble/dismantle equipment, operate mobile equipment with lockout/tagout certification, and perform inspections.

Applicants must read labels, follow recipes, and communicate effectively. Physical requirements are extensive, including lifting 20–70 pounds and working in extreme temperatures. OT and weekend work are required.

Qualifications

FOR ALL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

• Must be willing and able to assemble and dismantle equipment
• Must be willing and able to operate mobile equipment, be lock out tag out certified, perform stacking, perform inspections.
• Must be willing and able to stand, sit, bend, walk, stretch, climb, push, pull, kneel, squat and reach.
• Must be willing and able to lift, carry, push, and pull 20-70 pounds.
• Must be willing and able to work in extreme temperature and damp environments; these areas may have slippery walking surfaces.
• Must be willing and able to work overtime and weekends.
• Must be willing and able to understand labels, read recipes, follow instructions, and communicate effectively.
