Job Title

2nd Shift Machine Operator

Location

This position is located in our Sheet Plant (ESP) at 1101 East 6th Street and 480 E 2nd Street, Winona, MN.

Job Description

Custom engineered sheet products are manufactured using various engineered resin systems and thermoplastic technologies. The role involves setting up and operating sheet extrusion equipment, inspecting and packing products to meet quality standards, and ensuring safety compliance.

Work Schedule

2nd shift, hours from 3-11 pm, Monday through Friday, with overtime and weekend work as required. Employees are assigned to rotating A or B shifts. Training occurs on the 1st shift for at least 2 weeks prior to transfer. First day report to the corporate building at 580 E Front Street at 6:50 am for orientation.

Responsibilities
  • Operate machinery to produce sheets according to procedures, ensuring safety and quality standards.
  • Weigh and mix ingredients, monitor production, troubleshoot issues, and perform quality checks.
  • Package finished products, document work, and participate in training and safety programs.
Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, lift up to 60 lbs, and stand for 8 hours.
  • Read and follow manuals, maintain safety and cleanliness, and have dependable attendance.
  • Willing to work overtime, temperature extremes, and pass forklift and respirator tests.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent, forklift experience, and manufacturing background.
Physical and Working Conditions
  • Stand, walk, handle objects, and work in temperature extremes, with exposure to mechanical parts, dust, fumes, and noise.
