O'Neal Steel has an opening for a 2nd Shift Machine Operator at our Ambridge, PA facility.

The Machine Operator sets up and operates production machinery according to established procedures. Uses computer-controlled equipment to select, position, and secure machines. Adjusts machine settings to meet specifications and deadlines.

Job Responsibilities
  • Operate various processing equipment such as saws, shears, press brakes, rollers, plasma, and laser cutters.
  • Operate material handling equipment including forklifts, overhead cranes, stacker cranes, side loaders, and yard dogs.
  • Read and interpret blueprints.
  • Use measuring tools like tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.
  • Convert fractions and decimals, perform basic arithmetic.
  • Ensure high-quality output for internal and external customers.
Shift Details

Work hours: 2:00 PM - 2:00 AM, Monday-Friday. Overtime as needed.

Requirements
  • Pass a criminal background check and drug test.
  • Relevant experience with processing and material handling equipment.
  • Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools.
  • Licenses: Overhead Crane, Forklift.
