Job Title: Machine Operator - 2nd Shift

Location: Eagle, WI - USA

Type: Full-time, Onsite

Shift: Monday - Friday, 3 PM - 11 PM

Pay: $24.01/hr

Schedule: Daily overtime and Saturday overtime based on business needs

Position Summary

The Machine Operator - Fabrication is responsible for manufacturing parts according to plant specifications. This role requires operating CNC Machining Centers and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently under the supervision of the area supervisor.

Major Responsibilities

1. Position and secure workpieces in machines
2. Maintain a clean and safe work environment
3. Read blueprints/diagrams and use measuring instruments such as tape measures and dial calipers
4. Follow directions and work collaboratively in a team
5. Manage inventory control methods
6. Handle objects, tools, or controls regularly during work

Basic Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Understanding of machining and fabricating fundamentals
• Ability to perform reading, writing, and math functions

Additional Qualifications

• Effective communication skills
• Problem identification and solution implementation
• Intermediate PC skills and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Strong problem-solving and reasoning skills
• Ability to interpret drawings, schematics, and machine specifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with equipment and automation in metal fabrication, painting, or assembly operations
• Intermediate mechanical aptitude and systematic resolution skills

Physical Demands

Requires talking, hearing, manual manipulation, standing, walking, occasional stooping, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Frequent computer-based work with periods of sitting and focus. Occasional travel may be required.
