Job summary

Tools Inc. in Sussex, Wisconsin is seeking an experienced Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will operate mechanical and hydraulic stamping presses ranging from 95 Ton to 1000 Ton to produce high-quality parts and meet demand.

This role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to read work instructions, tag finished parts, and keep accurate counts while following ISO safety standards in a climate-controlled facility.

Qualifications

• Visual acuity to inspect highly cosmetic parts.
• Prompt, reliable attendance required.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Press Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating mechanical and hydraulic stamping press equipment ranging from 95 Ton to 1000 Ton to produce high-quality parts and meet demand. Your expertise in metal stamping and attention to detail will directly contribute to our commitment of excellence to our customers.

Pay Range: $17 - $20 per hour

Essential Job Functions

• Load and unload metal material into press or laser bed
• Position, align, and secure material against fixtures or stops
• Evaluate part quality using check aids and/or visual inspection
• Ensure proper tagging of finished parts for correct routing and counts
• Keep accurate part and scrap counts, record on data collection system at end of job or shift
• Follow safety rules and ISO requirements
• Maintain a clean work area.

Physical Demands

Ability to lift up to 35 LBS, lift twist, grab, stand (up to 8 to 10 hours), walk, push, pull, use both hands to lift and lower materials, and perform all other essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
