Job summary

Mid Central Electric, Inc. (a MacLean Power Systems Company in Oregon, WI is seeking a Machine Operator to load materials, operate and monitor an AEM Unicore UCM425, inspect parts, and ensure production requirements are met safely and efficiently.

The role is on-site on 2nd shift from 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM, with duties including loading steel coils, basic adjustments, quality checks, and routine maintenance. Prior experience is preferred but not required; forklift certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred but not required.
• Basic mechanical aptitude.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Forklift experience or ability to obtain certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate the AEM Unicore UCM425 machine to produce transformer cores.
• Load electrical steel coils and other required materials.
• Monitor the machine during operation and make basic adjustments as needed.
• Inspect finished components for quality and identify obvious defects.
• Follow work instructions and production schedules.
• Perform basic machine troubleshooting and notify the supervisor of equipment issues.
• Perform routine daily machine checks and basic preventive maintenance.
• Safely operate hoists and other material-handling equipment as required.

• Follow all company safety and quality procedures.
• Assist with other production duties as needed.

This position loads materials, operates and monitors the machine, inspects finished parts, and ensures production requirements are met safely and efficiently.

This position is onsite in our facility located in Oregon, WI

2nd Shift - 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM
