Job description

Job Responsibilities

1. Operate equipment: Run sheet-fed, digital presses, bindery, and other processing equipment to produce quality products. Follow standard operating procedures for quality assurance and work collaboratively to meet daily goals.
2. Quality control: Load paper into printing presses, troubleshoot jams, and verify customer information for accuracy. Operate bindery equipment to assemble checkbooks, ensuring mechanical skills are applied effectively.
3. System oversight: Monitor automated wrapping and conveyor systems to ensure correct insertion and wrapping of checks into plastic for proper flow.
4. Shipping and sorting: Scan barcodes, print labels, and match packages to ensure correct mailing procedures.
5. Physical requirements: Stand for up to eight hours, lift up to 15 pounds, and maintain keen attention to detail and organizational skills throughout the process.

Basic Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and eligible to work in the USA.

Preferred Qualifications

• HS/GED with 1 year printing experience with similar equipment.
• Knowledge of product, equipment, printing processes, and ink usage.
• Mechanical ability to operate and maintain presses.
• Basic math, reading, and computer skills.

Certifications

Additional Basic Qualifications include age and eligibility to work in the USA.
