Job summary

Diversified Foods and Seasonings, a division of Al Copeland Investments, is seeking a Machine Operator for our Theodore, AL plant. You’ll operate cook rooms and packaging machinery, ensure food safety and product quality, and help keep production efficient.

Responsibilities include recording production data, labeling, and maintaining a clean work area. Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required; physical stamina and basic math/reading skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Basic math and reading skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekends.

What You’ll Do

As a Machine Operator, you’ll be a key part of our production team, ensuring food safety, quality, and efficiency. Operating and maintaining cook rooms and packaging machinery, including film lifts, WULF packaging, ECONO-PAK robots, and more.

• Accurately recording production data and labelling.
• Staying informed on product specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols.
• Keeping a clean and sanitary work area at all times.
• Communicating effectively with team members and management.

What You’ll Bring

• Basic math and reading skills.
• Physical capability to stand for 10 hours, lift 50 pounds, bend, stoop, kneel, and work in fast-paced conditions.
• Flexibility to work overtime and occasional weekends.
