## Machine Operator - 2nd ShiftApply: Hammond, IN: Full time: Posted Today: R-101825**Job Description:****ROLE PURPOSE/ POSITION SUMMARY:**The Machine Operator is responsible to complete a variety of maintenance, development and operations tasks that promote the efficient production of MSI Express Inc. Their duties and responsibilities often include: Monitoring and maintaining warehouse equipment and machinery.**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:*** To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required* The operator is responsible to understand all quality specifications associated with the machinery and operate the machinery or equipment in compliance with those standards* The operator is responsible to operate the machinery or equipment at speeds sufficient to accomplish the production efficiency goals set by the supervisor* The operator is responsible to recognize when the equipment is malfunctioning or operating at substandard speeds and immediately inform the supervisor* The operator is responsible to ensure that all raw materials required to operate the machinery or equipment are of the specified part number prior to being installed on the equipment* The operator is required to perform basic maintenance on the machinery or equipment to which they are assigned* The operator is required to assist in the cleanup and / or the setup of the line by stocking, reworking, troubleshooting and any other duties that will be required to keep the line functioning* Follow all company policies including but not limited to general manufacturing and safety practices* This position has responsibility for Food Safety and Quality within their influence.
