Job summary

ABB is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor for 2nd shift in Flowery Branch, GA. The role focuses on setting up and operating CNC turning and milling machines to produce precision components, while ensuring first-piece quality and proper maintenance.

You will read blueprints, manage work orders, and update records in SAP. The ideal candidate has a HS diploma and 1 year of industrial or military experience (or related education), with strong English skills and willingness to overtime.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background and drug screen and have valid U.S. work authorization.
• Proficiency in reading, speaking, and writing English is essential for maintaining a safe work environment.
• Regular attendance and availability for overtime are essential job functions.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC turning and milling machines to produce precision components, verify first-piece quality using precision measuring tools, and perform routine machine maintenance.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical documentation while maintaining manufacturing records in SAP and preparing tooling, jigs, and fixtures.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including lifting up to 50 lbs., standing for extended periods, using overhead cranes and precision measuring equipment, and demonstrating strong problem-solving, math, and machining skills in a high-precision setting.
