Job summary

Paragon Medical, a business of AMETEK, is a trusted partner in medical device manufacturing and delivers high-precision components and complete products tailored to exceed customer expectations. Paragon Medical Orthopedics is seeking a CNC operator to operate CNC machines, mill, and/or drill product per print.

You will follow the production schedule, interpret blueprints, inspect parts, and prepare for transfer to the next work cell while maintaining ISO compliance and a clean working area.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 0–3 years previous machine operation or manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

  • Follow the production schedule.
  • Interpret blueprints, compare part to print and obtain first piece inspection.
  • Inspect each part milled and/or drilled to assure tool/program quality, and deburr when necessary.
  • Complete the traveler and place with product.
  • Prepare product for transfer to next work cell.
  • Maintain a well-organized and clean working area.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance of ISO policies and procedures.
  • Understand and follow policies and procedures.
  • Assist in other manufacturing areas as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
