Job description

Job Title: Machine Operator - 2nd Shift

Dixon is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator - 2nd Shift to join its Dixon Boss team in Chestertown, Maryland. The role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery that produces Dixon King Crimp Sleeves and Ferrules. Key responsibilities include ensuring proper machine setup, loading materials, monitoring quality and accuracy, and performing basic troubleshooting and maintenance. Attention to detail and efficiency are essential.

Shift Hours: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM

Responsibilities
  1. Learn to set up and operate equipment such as CNC plasma tables, mechanical marking and forming equipment, and welding tools.
  2. Work safely around equipment and colleagues.
  3. Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and factory orders.
