We are seeking Machine Operator applicants for 2nd shift (3 Openings) at our Akron, OH facility. The salary range is $20.42 - $24.72 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team in support of manufacturing operations, aiming to increase productivity and reduce downtime and waste.
• Setup, operate, feed machinery, and stack boxes.
• Participate in plant and facilities-related tasks.
• Follow all safety rules and lock-out tag-out procedures.
• Maintain shop and equipment per 5S Standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• May be required to stack parts up to 30 lbs. for up to 12 hours.

Basic Qualifications

• 3 years of experience operating machinery in manufacturing.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Ability to sit, stoop, and bend.
• Availability to work overtime and weekends.
• Must work the 2nd shift.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in packaging or manufacturing environments preferred.
• Passion for maintaining a safe work environment.
