Job description
Machine Operator is an entry level position with no certification required.
The purpose for an operator at this level is to learn and train on the basic understandings of all machine specific operations.
Operators have the basic ability to set up and operate a variety of machines to produce precision parts with immediate supervision by a certified operator (level II or above).
Follow established standard work under immediate supervision in efforts to obtain certification within 120 days.
Operator follows and complies with established standard work practices under immediate supervision.
The operator will typically refer problems or deviations to more experienced operators including Lead Technicians, Supervisors or Engineers.
Responsibilities:
Learn how to set up and operate machinery according to standard work.

Understand and follow quality testing techniques
Learn how to inspect product using precision gauges, measuring instruments and equipment
Demonstrate proficiency in manufacturing documentation and labor transactions.
Support and follow all rules/guidelines/standards set by EHS, Quality, and CI functions as set by your leader and position.
Actively participates in the Continuous Improvement process as well as safety related activities
Working extended shifts/overtime as required by the business
