Job summary

Haworth, Inc. in Conover, NC is seeking a Machine Operator 2 to join our manufacturing team. This role operates production machinery, verifies parts against tickets, and sets up machines per specifications to meet customer orders.

The ideal candidate has 2 years of manufacturing experience (or 1 year with Haworth) and can obtain/maintain forklift certification. Overtime is available and benefits start from day one.

Qualifications

• Two years manufacturing experience OR one year Haworth manufacturing experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain powered industrial truck certification.

Responsibilities

• Operates assigned production machinery in accordance with company standards to complete customer orders.
• Verifies parts received against pick tickets for accurate counts, colors, part numbers, and packaging.
• Selects the appropriate machine settings or program according to specifications.
• Sets up and operates machine; makes minor adjustments and repairs as needed.
• Performs change-overs and documents production nonconformance issues.
