Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Machine Operator 2 at our Jackson, MS site to run basic machinery, set up equipment, and ensure quality output. The role involves interpreting OMS guidelines, performing changeovers, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within a safety-focused environment.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic math, and the ability to read mechanical drawings.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of motor components and functions.
• Load/unload/inspect components to OMS by use of proper gauging equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Make adjustments as required for change overs.
• Identify, troubleshoot and correct minor machine time outs.
• Setup/Operate 1 up/down workstations.
• Perform monthly PM requirements.
• Inform team leader about processes or equipment requiring attention.
• Complete rework and scrap documentation as required or requested.
• Package service parts.
• Participate in completion of continuous improvement projects specifically designed to improve processes, productivity and quality, especially those related to corrective actions.
• Adhere to all safety requirements in the work area.
• Practice 5Ss.

Responsibilities

• Operate basic machines and ensure proper setup.
