Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope in Terrell, TX is seeking a Night shift Machine Operator 2 to calibrate machinery to meet quality specs. You will report to the Production Supervisor and join the Fabrication Department, building a career with an industry leader.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with power tools, can read drawings, perform basic math, and lift up to 50 lbs. Safety minded, detail oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience using power tools and reading a tape measure (to 1/32").
• Ability to read fabrication drawings and perform basic math (fractions/decimals).
• Experience operating or willingness to learn equipment such as pallet jacks and cranes.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle small and large components safely.
• Strong safety mindset, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while communicating effectively with team members.

Responsibilities

• Perform general aluminum fabrication, assembly, and packaging using hand and power tools.
• Set up and operate equipment to drill, cut, and prepare aluminum components per work orders and schedules.
• Measure, weigh, label, and pack materials according to shipping requirements, ensuring proper protection and accuracy.
• Inspect products for quality defects and ensure compliance with specifications and drawings.
• Read and interpret drawings, labels, and work instructions; complete basic documentation using shop floor systems or RF equipment.

The Machine Operator 2 - Nightsis focused on calibrating machine/equipment for the desired quality and specification of metal and reports to theProduction Supervisor.
