Position Title: Machine Operator 2

Reports to: Shift Supervisor

Position Description and Purpose

Founded in 1923 and headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Roskam Foods is a leading contract manufacturer partnering with renowned food brands, retailers, and food service providers. We produce a variety of frozen, refrigerated, and shelf-stable products. Our operations span over 2 million square feet with 50 production lines across 8 facilities in the U.S. and Canada. Job Responsibilities

• Kitchen Operators: Responsible for preparing, measuring, and mixing ingredients used in our products.
• Wheel Room Operators: Oversee production and quality on industrial wheels, working in a fast-paced, loud, and hot environment, and using computers.
• Wrapper/Bagger Operators: Manage and troubleshoot machines that wrap food products in film, ensuring high-speed operation and testing Critical Control Points.
• Carton Operators: Load and ensure cartons meet customer specifications, and clear jams as needed.
• Case Packer Operators: Use computers and iPads to create cases, perform quality checks, and troubleshoot minor issues.

Required Qualifications

• At least 1 year of machine operating experience, preferably in the food industry.
• A positive, can-do attitude.
• Dependability and reliability.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
