Job description

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Supervisor of Fabrication Manufacturing Operations, operates equipment such as fin press, expander press, and hairpin tubing press, or performs leak tests, rework, or assembly operations. Sets up and operates automatic or semi-automatic machines in a continuous production environment. Monitors meters, gauges, and controls to ensure adherence to specifications. Reports malfunctions and makes minor repairs. Uses protective gear to ensure safety.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lay out work stock from blueprints or templates.
  • Plan sequence of operations considering the physical properties of metal.
  • Work collaboratively with others with minimal supervision.
  • Set up and operate various machines.
  • Ensure a safe work environment and perform other duties as assigned.
  • Wear protective gear as required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
