Job summary

Lear Corporation in Pine Grove, PA is seeking a Machine Operator for the first shift (7 AM–7 PM). You will help keep production lines running, monitor machines, thread fabric, operate the frame machine, and ensure quality throughout the process.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, can pass background and drug screening, and can lift up to 50 pounds while standing for extended periods. Lear offers solid benefits and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass Background Check and Drug Screening
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to stand for a prolonged amount of time.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring the fronts and backs of assigned machines to ensure there are no productivity and quality issues
• Threading fabric into the frame machine
• Operating the frame machine and visually monitoring the fabric
• Review dye order and enter information into computer
• Reroll, inspect, and monitor the fabric for defects
• Mark, cut out, and record defects as necessary

As a member of the Production team, the Operator will be responsible for keeping the machines in constant operation.
