Job Description

Operates and maintain setups of conventional, special purpose, and numerical control (NC) machines and machining centers to fabricate and assemble metallic and nonmetallic parts by performing the following duties.

This is a 1st Shift position, which offers a pay range of $20.24 to $22.50 per hour.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

  • Monitors & trouble shoots electrical & mechanical equipment used in the assembly process to build hydrostatic pumps, motors and components
  • Provide line support for the assembly cell and is the next level of escalation after the cell expert for manufacturing issues related to safety and process quality
  • Assist in the daily activities of implementing process changes and problem solving on the shop floor
  • Assists in the prove-out of new processes and process changes by gathering data, making observations about the process, and communicating ideas to improve results
  • Works closely with the Process Engineer

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma/(GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS :

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply logic and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
